At Taylors College Sydney, we look after you from day one whilst you’re living away from home. From as early as the application process, we offer tailored support every step of the way.
We offer all students a range of online and offline study materials, designed to support and help you with any questions you might have. As well as this, you will have access to additional help through your tutorial group, where you can get support from both your fellow students and tutor.
Counselling and healthcare services are available to all our students.
Your studies
Study Smart
Benefit from access to Study Smart, an industry-leading online learning platform used by our students and teachers. Share activities, lesson materials and more to bring out the best of your studies.
Study guides
Our study guides include additional course material and practice examination papers. We give you everything you need to achieve your best.
Tutorial groups
We understand you will have a lot of questions during your studies, which is why all students are placed into small tutorial groups. These are group sessions led by a teacher, designed to give you the chance to ask any questions you might have, and give advice on how to make the most of your time at Taylors College Sydney.
Teachers also offer one-to-one sessions.
Your wellbeing
Personal counselling
Studying away from home is an exciting time, but it can also be a daunting one. Our counselling service is here to help when you need someone to listen.
From health concerns to questions about your studies: whatever your problem, we’re here to help.
Younger students get extra support from our Student Advisers. If you also have a Caregiver, they’ll be in regular contact with the College and your parents to make sure you’re happy and doing well. For extra security, it’s College policy to check all accommodation for students under 18.
Please note: all students under the age of 18 MUST live in approved accommodation and book an approved airport transfer service.

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a private health care arrangement, which helps cover the costs for visits to the doctor, some hospital treatment, ambulance and limited pharmaceuticals (medicines).
It is a condition of your student visa (Condition 8501) that you are covered by OSHC for the duration of your student visa.
Allianz Care Australia is the preferred health cover provider of SGA. This arrangement, however, does not restrict you from obtaining OSHC from a recognised provider of your choice. Further information about alternative recognised providers for OSHC is available on the Overseas Student Health Cover website.
If you choose to select a health insurance provider other than the SGA’s nominated provider (Allianz Care Australia), you must show evidence that you are covered by the other health insurance provider for your proposed visa duration. OSHC must be arranged before a student visa can be issued. It is your responsibility to make sure that you have a current health cover policy until your student visa expires.

"For us international students, it's really hard to speak in a different language. At Taylors College, I didn't understand anything at all in my first few classes because I never practised listening and speaking before. Then our teachers were very supportive and they always tried their best to make us understand. From that, I felt a bit more confident to talk with my teachers and to ask for help."
