The Australian Federal Government has announced a pause in the reopening of the Australian international border until 15th December 2021. This pause is in response to the emergence of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 and will allow time to better assess the risks of this variant.
Please see the full announcement here.
We recommend students who have accepted their offer to continue to proceed with their student visa application, as obtaining a student visa will allow students to travel at a later date.
Please be assured that we will provide you with further details as these become available over the coming days.
Vaccinated student visa holders will be able to travel to Australia without applying for a travel exemption. Students will need to be fully vaccinated with an Australian-approved vaccine and must have a negative PCR test result within three days of departure.
The NSW and ACT Governments have announced that international students will not be required to quarantine on arrival.
We strongly encourage all students to make plans to travel to Australia to commence their course. Our dedicated team will provide the guidance, support and information you need to transition to face-to-face teaching on our campus.
