We hope to make your study abroad adventure the best experience possible. When you apply to study with us, you will benefit from dedicated support from your Student Enrolment Advisor who can answer all your questions. Taylors College will then contact you personally two weeks before Orientation via email. A series of emails will be sent to you to introduce you to your program and to help you to nominate your preferred subjects. These emails simplify your transition to the USFP Program and it is expected that you will engage with them.

A certified true copy is a photocopy of a document that has been endorsed by an official figure, confirming that they have seen the original document and that the photocopy is a true copy of the original. The photocopy must bear the stamp and signature of your Principal, a Justice of the Peace or your agent. In stamping and signing the photocopy they’re confirming that they have seen the original document.
Australians generally have a casual and relaxed approach to what they wear. On campus most students dress in informal clothing. Australian summers (December to February) are usually warm. Temperatures can reach the high 30s °C during the day. Students typically wear cool, light clothes such as t-shirts, shirts, jeans, casual trousers or skirts. You should wear a hat and long-sleeved shirt to protect you from the sun.
During winter (June to August) temperatures can drop to below 10°C. We recommend you bring sweatshirts, jumpers, a coat or other warm clothing for winter.
Some students like to bring items such as toiletries, bath towels, bed linen, blankets for the winter months, a bilingual dictionary, an alarm clock, a camera, their driver's licence and their international driver's licence.
You can bring items such as desktop or laptop computers and similar electronic equipment tax free into Australia. Customs must be satisfied that you intend to take these items out of Australia when you leave. Note: you might need adapters as Australia uses 240 watts for electrical appliances.
You don’t need to bring cooking utensils and other household items. You can buy them for a reasonable price from department stores or second-hand shops in Australia.

On arrival in Australia you must declare all food, plant material and animal products. Customs need to make sure they’re free of pests and diseases.
Australia is an island, which means it’s protected from many of the pest, plant and animal diseases found in other parts of the world. Food, plant material and animal products from overseas could introduce some of the world's most serious pests and diseases into Australia. This could devastate our valuable agriculture and tourism industries and unique environment.
